How Did Jeff Bezos Become the First Trillionaire?

There are scores of companies which are trillionaire companies, however, there is only one man who is a trillionaire, it is none other than the CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos. This has been possible because when all of us were busy watching sitcoms, he was architecting the best plan. With the untapped power of the internet connection, there is nothing you cannot purchase, Amazon has only made the process much easier. The idea which was planted in his genius mind has turned out to be one of the most successful business platforms today.

“You know when I am 80, I am not going to remember any of this. But If I don’t try, I will definitely regret not having tried. Even if I fail, I would not have any regrets.”

At 55, Bezos has never dominated a major market as thoroughly as any of these forebears, and while he is presently the richest man on the planet, he has less wealth than Gates did at his zenith. Yet Rockefeller largely contented himself with oil wells, pump stations, and railcars; Gates’s fortune depended on an operating system. The scope of the empire the founder and CEO of Amazon has built is wider. Indeed, it is without precedent in the long history of American capitalism.

Today, Jeff Bezos controls nearly 40 percent of all e-commerce in the United States. More product searches are conducted on Amazon than on Google.

Apart from innovation and dedication, there are certain tips he followed to become the first trillionaire:

Clear vision and chalking out a clear plan: Having a vision is important and does not require constant attention. All you need to do is move towards your goal, step by step, keeping the vision at the back of your mind. You cannot just enjoy the little progress you achieve and start celebrating it, forgetting your main goal. The small goals you achieve are just a part of your plan. They are just small pieces of your half-baked cake. You must only eat the cake once you reach your final destination. Jeff Bezos did the same, had he been celebrating every little sale, he wouldn’t have reached this success.

Be habitual of the naysayers: Be immune to the naysayers and criticizers. It is very naïve to believe that there will not be any criticism. Receiving harsh and bold comments is just the part of terrain. Jeff faced a lot of resistance when he decided to leave the Wall Street job, had he cared about the comments then he most likely wouldn’t have been a trillionaire today.

Efficiency is the key: Amazon has efficiency in its DNA. Jeff Bezos always dreamt of creating the perfect culture of builders. The path to success is straight when one is disciplined towards efficiency. The people who are curious, efficient, and industrious on the professional front have always been achieving huge things in life. Jeff Bezos made sure he addressed efficiency and kept his eyes on the prize.

Have the courage to risk it: Have the courage to risk something which is worth the risk. Amazon is stemmed from the fact that the risk Jeff took has been worth the reward. His approach towards work and dedication has been risky and that has what has got him here. The ones who try and fail are much better than the ones who do not have the courage to even start at all. The core message is risk should be taken if the risk is worth it.

Be hungry for success: Pick the best ingredients for success and still, you will not get there if you are not hungry for more. Never settle for less. Jeff started only with selling books on Amazon from his garage, had he stopped there, today Amazon wouldn’t be the corporation it is today

Excel these points and watch yourself climbing the ladder of success.
